We Launch at 8:45 every morning at i street and Balboa Bl. at the end of the Balboa Peninsula. Because of the wind in the afternoon this is the most desirable time. The tour takes generaly 2:15min. Second stop, Balboa Island to our favorite coffee shop for some fresh made pastries. Is there at better way to start the day? Please bring cash we are not set up for credit card. We launch in a residential area so you don't have to kayak 2 miles to get to the good stuff. Launch
locations can be customized to your needs, depending on how many are in your
group and how energetic you're feeling. If you're new to kayaking, don't worry
- the pace is as slow or fast as you like. There's no need for a wetsuit, but
wearing a bathing suit under your T-shirt and shorts is a good idea. Also,
you'll need to go barefoot to launch, so wear shoes or sandals that are easy
on, easy off.
